Le Pistou – Atelier de cuisine / Cooking School
Like All over the world, regional cuisines reflect their surroundings as much as their traditions and history. Provençal food is therefore based on local produce that hails from the CAMARGUE (land of cowboys, horses and bulls!), from nearby FISHING PORTS and from the MOUNTAINOUS HINTERLAND… Then there is the GARRIGUE that surrounds us and gives us luscious goats cheeses and fragrant olive oils… Now how could you possibly resist that ?
Our classes ar given on demand and by reservation, and our cooking school is right bang in the centre of Uzès, a few steps from the Tourist Information Office.
We start at 9.30am, we chop, taste and drizzle until 1pm and then si down to a relaxed lunch with a glass (or three) of wine.
Of course you will take home all recipes, checklosts and tasting notes you may need to practice your newly acquired skills.

Most courses cost 130€ per person and if there is space, if may be possible to bring along a non-participating parnter for lunch afterwards.
